Keep it Clean, Keep it Simple, Keep Your Hands Off!
* Wash Hands First: Always wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before touching your piercing.
* Clean 2-3x Daily:
* Spray: Gently mist the front and back of your piercing with sterile saline wound wash (0.9% sodium chloride and water only).
* Soften & Dry: Allow the saline to air dry or gently pat dry with a clean, lint-free paper towel. Do NOT pick at "crusties" (dried lymph fluid).
* Leave it Alone: NEVER twist, turn, or play with your jewelry. Excessive movement irritates the piercing and delays healing.
* Avoid Irritants:
* No harsh chemicals: Steer clear of alcohol, peroxide, Neosporin, scented soaps, lotions, makeup, or tea tree oil.
* No public water: Avoid pools, hot tubs, lakes, and oceans during healing.
For any serious concerns please see a physician for medical assistance within 24hrs

* Be Patient: Healing takes time (weeks to over a year, depending on the piercing). Follow these steps consistently.
* Contact Your Piercer: If you notice excessive redness, swelling, pain, yellow/green discharge, or have any concerns, reach out to your professional piercer immediately. Do NOT remove jewelry if you suspect an infection.
Be Patient: Healing times vary significantly depending on the piercing type.
Be prepared for a healing period of several weeks to over a year.
